Help and Advice
Frank	Your MP is there to assist with matters for which Parliament or central Government is responsible. Questions about general Government policy in a specific area can be sent to Frank at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. If you wish to raise an issue, you can contact Frank by phone, email (doranf@parliament.uk) or letter. Surgery visits allow constituents the opportunity to discuss their particular problem or concern directly with Frank. For your information Frank cannot give legal advice or become involved in a case before the Courts. Nor would he normally become involved in disputes with private companies, unless they are regulated such as BT, Gas and Electricity.
City Council	Aberdeen City Council's website is a valuable resource providing details of local councillors and how they can help, and general information on Aberdeen City.
CAB	Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau can assist with more general matters.
MSPs and MEPs	Scottish Devolution has meant that certain matters are reserved to the UK Parliament in Westminster and others devolved to The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. Frank works closely with colleagues in the Scottish Parliament, (Lewis Macdonald MSP for Aberdeen Central and Richard Baker MSP for North-East Scotland), and in the European Parliament (Catherine Stihler MEP for North East Scotland).
